idk if anyone else felt this way, but in the Shapeshifter ep of Dungeon Meshi, it's treated like a joke that all the copies of Laios are super obviously not him, but isn't it kind of fucked up that Laios's closest companions don't seem to view him as... whole?

None of his companions had an accurate view of him as a person! One of the copies was a stupid, drooling mess! And on top of this, they all believed that because Laios struggles with social cues he wouldn't be observant to them as people. They just... fundamentally don't understand him.

I think the really accurate copies of the rest of the party was drawn from Laios's mind. His powers of observation and analytics are his strength, but that's not the same as being good with social cues.

Anyway. It made me really sad. I know his party cares about him, but it's so isolating to know your friends don't know you.

few quick sketches of the fourth partner Digimon in Aurora - Floramon, and her adult form, Astermon - a subspecies of Sunflowmon!

Her full evolution line is Floramon -> Astermon -> Toropiamon ( subspecies of ) -> BloomLordmon; though she remains a Data attribute through all of the forms.

She's also one of the younger Digimon in the group, and is quite boisterous and an outdoorsy person. Unsurprisingly, she loves nature and has quite a lot to say about how humans treat it, but also willing to help fix the state of things.

Muimui: Honestly looks the most like an uncropped Doberman or a Rottweiler? The little eyebrow spots are iconic. (Although the muzzle is a bit skinny for a Rottie). (The ear shape is not quite right for a Beuceron.)

Anowtrid: Most likely a Spitz breed! Husky or Malamute seems to be a likely answer, but it could also be a Norwegian Elkhound.

Nussa: Looks similar to Anowtrid, so they could be littermates. It could also be a Lundehund if we assume a smaller size.

Fucci: This one's a freebie - That's definitely a Kurzhaar. Look at the spots! (I grew up calling them that and refused to use the term German Shorthaired Pointer. Kurzhaar sounds so much cooler)

Mutty: Another freebie - this is obviously a Chow Chow. Look at that sad little face.

Botsu: Could also be a couple things ! The single-color coat and sad old man face give me the vibes of a Weimaraner, which is what I'm going with.
